We're a small, family-run studio in a rural area, with one full-time artist, a part-time piercer, and occasional guest artists. We are typically booked a few weeks to a month in advance, sometimes more.

We can OCCASIONALLY accommodate a last-minute appointment or walk-in based on artist availability, so we encourage you to check in with us if you're in the area and are looking to have some work done!

The price of your tattoo will depend on several factors, including but not limited to the size and complexity of the design, the presence (or lack) of color, whether it's a coverup, the location on your body, etc.

Our standard shop minimum is $150. For larger/more complex pieces, we offer hourly rates, per-piece pricing, as well as half + full-day rates, which will save you an average of 30% over hourly booking.

Once the pricing for your piece has been determined and your preferred appointment date has been confirmed available, a 50% deposit will be required in order to hold your calendar date, as well as either reserve your choice of flash design or begin work on your stencil drawing for custom pieces.

We use a scheduling service called Vagaro that sends appointment confirmation texts, as well as a reminder before your session, so a valid mobile number will be needed to book your session.

The King's Gold spends in all forms. We take cash (always welcome!), cards*, Venmo, Paypal, Cashapp, Zelle + ApplePay


* A 2% processing fee will be added to card payments made at the shop).

Life happens. Your deposit is non-refundable, but it is absolutely TRANSFERRABLE to another available appointment date. We ask that you give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule for any reason: illness, injury, sunburn, dragon attack... You know, the usual.

Absolutely! As long as your parent // guardian consents on your behalf, brings proof of legal guardianship, + can be present for the entire appointment.

Please arrive to your appointment having eaten! We have snacks and drinks at the shop, and several restaurants located nearby, but we always recommend eating a small, nutrient-dense meal before a session, as well as bringing along your favorite snack/drinks for longer sessions.

Don't forget to stay hydrated! It really will help your pain tolerance and the overall tattooing//healing process immensely.

We allow you to bring friends // family members to your appointment (please keep it reasonable, and if bringing kiddos, we ask that they have a guardian who isn't you present for your appointment.) We have a cool waiting area, and our shop is located right on Twin Creek, so there's a nice backyard area to stretch your legs.

Pretty please - arrive on time, and if you're running late -- just let us know! Showing up a little bit early is fine, but please know that your start time quoted is the intended start time for the session. Your artist might be cleaning up from a previous appointment, or grabbing a snack, or having a stretch in the precious minutes before you arrive :)
